What is the difference between "Activity" and "Settlement"?
Explains how the Activity and Settlement date views differ when sorting data around month boundaries.
There are two ways to look at dates:
- Activity — the dates in the system sort based on the date associated with that item on a settlement.
- Settlement — the dates in the system sort based on the date of the settlement.
For example, if the 29th and 30th of a month fall on Saturday and Sunday, all activity for those days would show up on the first settlement of the new month. If you choose Settlement, the numbers would include the 29th and 30th in the next month.
